Food Inspector & Crowd Control.

I'm so thankful for friends who are like family.
And for families who open their hearts to comfort yours.

Thanksgiving was great.
We went to this wonderful older lady's house.
She made us all name tags. There was about 17 people all together.
She also put a twin bed sheet as the table cloth and asked us to draw or write what we are thankful for.
In her living room were all the other bed sheets thru out the years.
It was really cool and something I think I will start when I have my own thanksgiving.

If any of you have a chance, stop by your nearest Starbucks to see all the hard work your lovely barsitas put into setting up for Christmas.
I left work at 1:30am thanksgiving morning and we still were not done.

Have you heard the new Fray song? It's call You Found Me.
It's intriguing. I believe he's crying out from his heart.
Questions, reasons, blames, confusion.

I really believe that singers and song writers need to be wise with their words.
Words have such a deep impact on others and songs just put strong emotions behind those words.
Their songs could be creating a false world or screaming truth.
just a thought....

I'm thankful for you.

I am glad you had a good Thanksgiving. You were with people who love, and that can be a wonderful time. Sure did miss you. Looked for you (hoping that somehow you were going to surprise us!) Are you feeling better?

I'm so glad you had a good Thanksgiving. I wondered if you would surprise us though. We had a good one too. I noticed you have two jobs? when did that start? and I hope you are feeling better. You should put all these thoughts in a book. You write your thoughts very well I think.Love you honey.

Dear One, I'm so glad you had a great Thanksgiving. What a wonderful tradition (writing on a bed sheet what you are thankful for). I think we'll start doing that at Christmas.
Thanksgiving at Grandpa's was wonderful, as usual, except for the fact that you weren't there :-(
Too much food to eat it all, but we sure gave it our best shot. We had a cookie decorating contest (with prizes of course) and the grown-ups really surprised me. Your mother needs to go back to art class, as does your Aunt K.
Went shopping with Kris and the girls on Friday, then went to watch Bob's football team (Bellmont) win their first ever State Championship on Saturday!
Grandpa is doing well, he's going to Pennsylvania this week to have lunch with his high school classmates (yes, there are some still living!).
Miss you lots and love you most. Aunt 60

Sounds super fun! I love get-togethers with a mish-mash of people. I also love the sheet idea!! I might try that with a scrapbook instead. Very cool.
